Jo Shore CPF®

Jo joined the staff at Framing Matters in March 2008. As an experienced picture framer she brings to Framing Matters a talent and a skill which is conducive to the philosophy of the business. Jo, like many others on staff, has studied at the Framing School in Sydney and she is well equipped to provide a level of framing expected of all the staff at framing Matters. Not only is Jo good at framing but she is also a caring person who will deal sensitively with all the needs of our customers. In June 2008 Jo joined a select group of framers when she successfully wrote Certified Picture Framer® qualification.
Before moving into the framing industry, Jo qualified as a horticulturist but soon realized that her real interests lie in the art world. Jo sees studying at the Framing School as just part of her training and she is already reading framing resource books in order to take exams. Jo is one of the few young people who have come into the framing industry with an intention to make it a career.
Jo is married but has no children yet. She does, however, have two cats, Millie and Fern, which give her a lot of pleasure. Besides taking care of her cats, Jo enjoys walking and in her young life has covered many kilometers on foot. Her walks include the Walls of Jerusalem, a variety of Australian National parks, and the Brindabella Mountains. When not walking, she puts her mind to other hobbies which include knitting, sewing and stitching. Jo also enjoys framing as, in her words, “It is infinitely challenging, it is fulfilling and it is fun.
Jo says about working at Framing Matters, “I love working at Framing Matters as everyone is great, encouraging and funny! I get to work with people who have great skills and talents and I can only improve my own skills and knowledge by working with them.”
